Inclement Weather
Monteca International Montessori Kindergarten’s (MIMK) top priority is the safety of your children. In the event of inclement weather, MIMK follows the guidelines provided by the Education Bureau & Hong Kong Observatory. The overall consensus for this policy is to ensure that you and your family are safe under these weather conditions.
MIMK will be closed as soon as these weather conditions are in effect:
Red Rainstorm
Black Rainstorm
Typhoon Signal 8
Typhoon Signal 10
MIMK will provide updates towards weather conditions and how it affects MIMK’s operations as early as possible. Besides enrolling all parents to a messaging group, MIMK will also be posting status updates on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, etc. In the event that we are closed, make-up sessions will be arranged on alternate days.
